Brain Awareness Week

March 10 - 16, 2014

Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is the global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research.

Every March, BAW unites the efforts of partner organizations worldwide in a celebration of the brain for people of all ages.

There are over 1,000 diseases and disorders of the brain and most do not have a cure. More than 25% of the population will experience a brain disorder sometime in their life. During Brain Awareness Week we want you to think about your brain and help fund research. For over 40 years, the Brain Foundation has independently funded the brightest Australian researchers investigating diseases and disorders of the Brain.

Come and visit the Brain Foundation in Martin Place, Sydney on Tuesday 11th March
or in Brisbane, Queen Street Mall on Thursday 13th March.
Everyone is welcome!
