Has anyone experienced migraines where you don't get any pain?

Hi, I suddenly started with what I thought was migraine in Oct 2009. I thought it was migraine because of the flashes, but did not have pain. Then I had a feeling of not been with it and being very slow in movement and speech. I was told these were small siezures. I was reffered to a migraine specialist at the local hospital who immidiate reffered me to a neurosurgeon, saying you dont develope migraines for the first time in your fifties. I found out I had a malignant brain tumour at the front of the brain. I have had surgery and radiotherapy and am now on the road to recovery. I am pleased with myself, had operation in march followed by 6 week of radiotherapy every day and I went back to work last week. Still tired but stayed positive all the way through and rested a lot. I also felt very lucky that they could help me. I was selfish at times when I didnt want to talk I would say so. I hope this has not frightened you but go see your doctor and tell them exactly how you feel when you are having an attack, im may be nothing other than a migraine.

Yes. I often get the pre-warnings of auras but then don't get a full-blown migraine.
In recent months I've also developed phantosmia (halucinated smells) as prequals to migraines.
I'm in my mid-60's and post menapausal, so according to generally held beliefs, I shouldn't still be getting migraines. But I think I get them more often than I did when in my 50's.

Yep, I'll get the aura with no headache. Sometimes other symptoms though - lack of focus, blurry vision, tiredness.
