2009 Brain Foundation Research Grants

On Tuesday 29 September 2009, the Annual Research Grant Awards ceremony was held at the Great Hall in the University of Sydney. The Governor of NSW, Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO presented the awards to the fourteen recipients of the 2009 Grants. These projects were selected from a competitive national pool based on the potential of each one to make a difference by enabling an earlier diagnosis and also to advance the treatment of sufferers in the area being investigated.
